The Nivin Pauly starrer "Thuramukham" returned to theatres on March 10 after a lengthy absence, and audiences are responding well to the film. The movie reportedly made Rs 65 lakhs on its first day of release.

On March 10, the film was released in theatres to mostly favourable reviews. Netizens praised Rajeev Ravi's amazing execution technique as well as the outstanding lead actors' outstanding performances in the film.
"Thuramukham," directed by Rajeev Ravi, centres on the well-known demonstrations against the "chappa" system that were held at the Cochin harbour in the 1950s.
Arjun Ashokan and Indrajith Sukumaran, who played the characters Hamza and Santo Gopalan, as well as Nivin Pauly, who played the movie's main character Mattancherry Moidu, all had significant parts.
Gopan Chidambaran wrote the storyline for "Thuramukham," and Rajeev Ravi handled the cinematography. The movie's editing was done by B Ajithkumar.
